So you want to be an auditor? To succeed as an auditor, you will need to be highly organized with a thorough mind for details and an appreciation for process. Auditors deal in the objective, analyzing information and confirming facts. On a daily basis, you will conduct audits using a variety of data sources and input from many functional areas of the corporation. You will also be required to keep abreast of new and changing regulations and requirements through frequent testing and educational opportunities. What you will accomplish is essential to our organizational success, as you help ensure that we have the controls in place to satisfy federal regulators and remain both operationally transparent and efficient.
To serve as a Staff Auditor II, you will need, at minimum, to hold a bachelor’s degree with two – four years of directly related experience in conducting audits. Preferred candidates will have a master’s degree with four – six years of directly related experience as well as required current licensing.
