Before You Apply

It takes less than 15 minutes to apply online for a new account. Here are a few of the things that we need to know about you to open your account:

  • Identification type (i.e. Driver's license)
  • Social Security Number and date of birth
  • Contact information (such as address and phone number)

You will need to provide the source of your opening deposit to complete your account set up.  This opening deposit can come from any of the following:

  • Transfer from an existing Capital Bank deposit account (using your Capital Bank account number)
  • Transfer from an account at another bank (using account number and routing number from that account)
  • Transfer from a debit or credit card account (using the card number, expiration date, CVV number, and billing address)

Important Note:  To open an account online, all applicants must be 18 years or older. If you would like to open an account with a minor, please visit a financial center for assistance.
