We’re transitioning all customers from MasterCard to Visa. Your new Visa Debit Card comes with added card features and benefits like Visa’s Zero Liability policy and security features you’ll appreciate.
Yes. You will be able to use your Capital Bank Visa Debit Card at the ATM.

Once you receive your new card, you’ll need to update your new account number, expiration date, and 3-digit security code (on the back of the card) to merchants who regularly bill this account. This may include wireless, cable and internet providers, insurance companies, highway toll accounts, online merchants and more.
As of April 30, 2019, your Debit MasterCard will no longer be active. Activate your new Visa Debit Card as soon as it arrives to avoid service interruption and potential fraud.

If you plan to be traveling, domestically or internationally, during the debit card reissuance period (March – early April), please contact us now so we can work with you in providing a replacement Visa Debit Card. Your Debit MasterCard will no longer be active as of April 30. It is also important to alert us of your travel plans so we do not mistake your transactions as being fraudulent. Please use the Customer Service phone number associated with your account; see options listed above in the “What Do I Need To Do” section.
* Visa’s Zero Liability policy does not apply to unauthorized transactions on prepaid cards for which the issuing financial institution has not collected the cardholder’s personal information prior to the transaction or to certain commercial card transactions. Cardholders must use care in protecting their card and notify their financial institution immediately of any unauthorized use. Cardholders should contact their issuing financial institution for additional details.
